About the Hall

The new Village Hall, completed in October 2006, is located on the site of the old Hall in Heath Green Road.

It consists of the Main Hall, a smaller Meeting Room, adequate toilet facilities and a modern, fully-equipped kitchen including a commercial dishwasher. The Studland Social Club occupies an adjacent area through the shared Rear Lobby.

The site provides ramp access to all doors for wheelchair users.

Private parking is adjacent to the hall, with limited additional on-street and public parking nearby.

Main Hall
The Main Hall makes an excellent venue for public performances, private functions, corporate events and sporting activities incuding -

  • Shows, musical events and films
  • Wedding receptions, dances, discos and parties
  • Large meetings, seminars, presentations, exhibitions
  • Badminton, carpet bowls, yoga, etc

The Main Hall features an unobstructed area with high ceiling and polished wooden flooring.

  • Main Hall area - 10m x 15m
  • Seating capacity for up to 130 people at tables or 152 audience style
  • Standing capacity for up to 300 people
  • Equipped with PA system with CD Player and hearing loop
  • Portable computer with a digital projector
  • Large wall mounted electric drop down projector screen
  • The hall can be blacked out for daytime use

Meeting Room
The Meeting Room is suitable for smaller seminars or meetings. It has its own entrance door but is also accessible directly from the Main Hall, so it can function separately or in conjunction with the Main Hall.

  • Meeting Room area - 5.5m x 4 m
  • Seating for 20 at tables or 30 audience style
